Winter Growth's mission is to assist health-impaired older and disabled adults to remain in the community, avoiding unwanted nursing home placements. The agency provides adult day programs and additional support services from three centers located in the Washington/Baltimore metropolitan area. All services are designed and provided to support independence, enhance self-esteem and promote the dignity of each individual.

As a non-profit organization, all fees received by Winter Growth go directly back into the provision of quality services for its day participants and residents.

Payment sources for programs and services include private pay, Medicaid and other public and privately funded subsidies The Eaton, Columbia and Horizon Foundations provide support as well as civic and religious organizations and individual donors.
